Dr. Jacklyn Miller’s interest in becoming an audiologist began in high school after completing a project on the auditory and vestibular systems and was reinforced throughout her education. She joined Advanced Audiology in 2015, where she is dedicated to enhancing each patient’s quality of life. From testing newborn infants to working with the elderly, her interests include diagnostics, adult amplification, aural rehabilitation and tinnitus management.
Community and professional development are essential to Dr. Miller. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and has been holding a Board position with the Michigan Audiology Coalition for three years. She also continuously seeks to participate in local philanthropies.
Dr. Miller earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Central Michigan University and her Doctorate degree in Audiology from Illinois State University. Her training includes multiple externships, including a year-long clinical rotation and training with the Henry Ford Health System. During her externship, she gained experience in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) offices and the University of Michigan Cochlear Implant Program.
Originally from the Grand Ledge area, Dr. Miller is enthusiastic about serving the greater Lansing area as an audiologist. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of her family and friends, reading, and appreciates all the outdoor activities Michigan has to offer.
