Dr. Linda Wright founded Advanced Audiology in 2003 to provide DeWitt, Lansing, East Lansing, St. Johns and surrounding communities with a reliable and honest resource for their hearing needs. As an audiologist, her mission is to provide exceptional trusting care to her valued patients of all ages and to help them improve their quality of life through the ability to communicate effectively. She ensures every patient gets the individual care and counseling that is vital to hearing success, through thorough and caring hearing consultation.
In addition to owning her own audiology practice, Dr. Wright serves her community in unique ways, including working in local schools (Clinton and Shiawassee counties). For six semesters, she taught the Advanced Hearing Aid course to Doctorate level students at Central Michigan University. She continues to take on the challenge of teaching clinical skills to university students through their intern placements at Advanced Audiology.
Dr. Wright is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, American Academy of Audiology and the Michigan Audiology Coalition and served as an Advisory Panel member for Michigan Hands & Voices, a non-profit support group for families with children who are deaf.
Dr. Wright earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Michigan State University and received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida. She strives to continue her education in advanced digital technologies to give patients the best care possible.
In her free time, she enjoys her life as a loving wife, caring mother, Girl Scout leader, avid reader and beginner sewer.
